When in the market for a new credit card, the consumer should always look for the one that will provide the best service.  Credit card companies charge the retailer a percentage of the sale, and some of these companies, like the issuer of Discovercards, actually return part of that fee to the card user.  If it is cash back that you are looking for, center your credit card search around these companies.   Conversely, other credit cards will provide miles toward a specific airline or many different airlines.  Or you can find credit cards that will reward you with various merchandise.  Read the rest of this entry »
